In a world that often runs on numbers and ranks, Akal Academy, Bhadaur took a meaningful pause on January 2, 2016, to nurture something timeless artistic expression. The Inter-House Free Hand Drawing & Painting Competition, organized by the Arts & Craft Department, gave students from Grade V to VIII the freedom to express their ideas and ideals through art.
Thoughtful Themes for Young Thinkers
The competition was a platform for awareness, values, and social responsibility. Themes were thoughtfully aligned with age groups:-
• Grade V–VI:- “Save Environment” – encouraging young minds to preserve our planet.
• Grade VII:- “Pollution” – raising awareness about the silent dangers threatening our world.
• Grade VIII:- “Sachha Achha Bharat” – reflecting their vision of a cleaner, truer India.
Talent Unleashed
The energy was electric as young rural artists transformed their imagination into vivid masterpieces. From charcoal sketches of smoggy cities to radiant watercolors of clean rivers and green fields, each entry carried a message that could be felt even before it was read. The sense of purpose behind each drawing reminded us that children don’t just create art they craft change.
Winning with Heart
After careful evaluation of creativity, message clarity, and technique, the results were announced:-
Overall Winner:- Abhay House
1st Runner-up:- Atul House & Ajay House (Tied)
2nd Runner-up:- Amul House
The real victory, however, lay in every participant’s contribution to raising awareness and spreading positivity.
Voices from the Academy
The Principal and judges praised the students for their innovation, passion, and expressive abilities. “Art has the power to touch hearts and open minds,” the Art Department commented. “And today, these children proved just that.”
Beyond the Brushstrokes
By turning their feelings into forms and values into visuals, these students are being raised as artists, thinkers, visionaries, and changemakers. Activities like these prove that when rural talent meets meaningful guidance, transformation is inevitable.
