Atam Pargas Social Welfare Council (APSWC), Ludhiana, recently organized a Principals Conference on ‘Efficient Teaching: Methodologies and Responsibilities’ at Akal Academy Dhanal Kalan, Jalandhar.
More than 150 school principals and teachers from different districts of Punjab participated in the conference.
Guru Nanak’s Teachings as a Guiding Light
Principal Narinderpal Singh (Retd.), Paritbha Vidhalya, Delhi emphasized the teaching methodologies of Guru Nanak, inspiring teachers to develop their personalities in the light of Gurbani and be proud of their rich heritage.
Embracing value-based teaching methodologies
Dr. Varinderpal Singh, Chairman of APSWC, encouraged teachers to passionately embrace their professional responsibility, emphasizing the importance of value-based teaching methodologies. He also cautioned the decline of moral values in society and emphasized the need for adopting value-based teaching methodologies. While giving examples from day-to-day life, he urged the teachers to adopt a practical approach to tailor the minds of the students to lead a purposeful life.
The ‘Jeeveey Gurbani Naal-Play Way book series’ for students of 2nd to 9th standard was also introduced, focusing on the impact on child psychology.
