I’m Rajbeer Kaur from Subhash Nagar, New Delhi, a proud alumna of Eternal University’s Akal College of Engineering & Technology (ACET), Batch of 2012. Today, I’m working as a .NET Software Programmer at PYRAMID IT CONSULTANTS in Noida – a position I earned through the University’s Campus Placement Services after completing my B.Tech in Computer Science.
How a Chance Conversation Led to Baru Sahib
My journey to Baru Sahib began unexpectedly. While searching for a good college after school, I happened to talk with a friend’s mother who volunteers at The Kalgidhar Trust office in Rajouri Garden, Delhi. The way she described the university instantly inspired me to choose Baru Sahib without a second thought. Soon, I had filled out my admission form and was on my way to a life-changing experience.
Baru Sahib – A Campus Unlike Any Other
My expectations were far exceeded when I arrived. Compared to the colleges I had seen in Delhi, including Delhi University campuses, Eternal University offered something truly unique – a disciplined and peaceful environment blending scientific and spiritual education. The campus life, student culture, and the values instilled here left a deep impression on me.
Transformed by the Spiritual and Academic Atmosphere
Spending four years in the divine atmosphere of Baru Sahib completely transformed me. I developed a deep connection with Gurbani and Nitnem, which became part of my daily routine. I fondly remember my teachers – Tejinder Sir, Rajiv Thakur, and Mandeep Sir – who nurtured my interest in computers, microprocessors, and Java programming.
Support from Family and Faith in the Journey
Coming from a middle-class family—my father a mechanical engineer and my mother a homemaker—it was not easy for my parents to send me away for studies. But with Waheguru’s blessings and the support from Baru Sahib, everything went smoothly. Today, my family is proud and happy with my progress.
Looking Ahead – Career Goals and Giving Back
Currently, I plan to continue in my job to gain valuable experience and build financial stability before pursuing my Master’s. I also strongly believe that society should step up to support more scholarship programs for deserving students, especially girls. I urge everyone reading this to contribute in whatever capacity they can.
Message for Parents – A Safe and Transformative Environment
To all parents – I highly recommend Baru Sahib for your children. The environment is extremely safe and nurturing, especially for girls. You can trust that your child will be in the right hands, both academically and spiritually.
