Born in 1996 in Mumbai, Jagneet Kour faced an immense tragedy at just two and a half years old when she lost her father. Her mother, left to fend for them alone, struggled to provide for her. However, fate had a different plan, bringing Jagneet under the guidance and care of Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, a moment that changed her life forever.
Jagneet recalls, “Baba Ji, along with students, would visit Mumbai every year to recite Gurbani and share their teachings. My mother was deeply moved by their devotion and decided to entrust me to Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji.”
A New Beginning at Baru Sahib
After moving to Baru Sahib, Jagneet received not only a quality education but also a nurturing environment that beautifully blended spiritual wisdom with modern academics. The holistic learning experience provided by Akal Academy Baru Sahib and The Kalgidhar Society played a vital role in shaping her journey toward success.

Jagneet Kour’s dedication to learning and excellence led her to achieve remarkable milestones:
- B.A. (Humanities), B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education), M.A. (Education) with OCPA 8.82
- University Gold Medalist in Masters in Social Sciences
- University Gold Medalist for Best All-Rounder Postgraduate (2022 Session)
- Pursuing Ph.D. in Education at Eternal University (expected completion: July 2025)
Her research focuses on “A Study of the Academic Achievement of Senior Secondary School Students in Relation to Socio-Economic Status, Emotional Intelligence, and Self-Concept in Sirmaur District, Himachal Pradesh.”
