A father is the first hero of a daughter, but when a daughter loses her father, especially at a very young age, her life turns upside down.
Namisha’s life was sailing smoothly when she lived with her father and mother in the Barnala district of Punjab. However, in 2018, tragedy struck when she was in 7th grade, and she lost her father to a sudden brain hemorrhage.
With no other option, she, along with her mother and brother, had to relocate to her maternal grandparents’ house. Her mother, not wanting to burden her family, started stitching from home to make a living. Unfortunately, the income was not sufficient to meet their needs.
Amid emotional distress and financial challenges, Namisha found solace at Akal Academy Balbehra. It was here that she discovered her inner strength and developed the belief to pursue her aspirations. Currently studying under the Educate to Save initiative of the Kalgidhar Society in the academy, Namisha not only excelled academically but also showcased her versatility in various extracurricular activities.
Against all odds, she secured the 2nd position in the Patiala District and achieved an outstanding 98.4% in the CBSE class 10th board exams.
Namisha emerged stronger than ever, and this achievement ignited her aspirations. Her dream now is to become a Cardiac Surgeon, aiming to make her mother proud and contribute to the nation’s well-being. In pursuit of her dreams, she is diligently preparing for NEET alongside her regular studies.
Namisha’s unwavering spirit and dedication serve as an inspiration, proving that with determination and hard work, obstacles can be conquered, and success can be achieved. Her journey from tragedy to triumph is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
