However, after being baptized as a Sikh, she chose to honor her faith and accept her natural appearance, as Sikhism forbids cutting body hair. Project 60 – Breaking Beauty Norms
Kaur is the only woman featured in Project 60, a prestigious photography exhibition showcasing the world’s best facial hair. This initiative is part of Beard Season, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising skin cancer awareness by encouraging people to grow facial hair during winter.

By embracing her beard, Kaur is challenging traditional beauty standards and sending a powerful message of self-love and body positivity. “It makes me feel like a brave, confident woman who isn’t afraid to break society’s norms,” she says.
