Manpreet Kaur bags GOLD in Instrumental music in Saranda for Master’s Degree

“A dream doesn’t become a reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work!”

Hailing from a small village in Ludhiana, Manpreet Kaur always harbored aspirations of making a profound impact beyond the confines of her village.

On the Fifth Convocation Ceremony of Eternal University, Manpreet Kaur stood out as she was bestowed with the prestigious University Medal for her outstanding performance as the overall best student in her Postgraduate studies.

Her journey from a humble background to the esteemed Akal Institute of Rural Women Empowerment was fraught with challenges. With her father working as a Security Guard in a private company, financial constraints were a constant companion. However, her indomitable spirit led her to the Akal Institute of Rural Women Empowerment, a beacon of hope for underprivileged young women from remote areas. Here, they are not just educated but also imbued with spiritual wisdom and trained in the melodic art of ancient Indian stringed instruments.

After completing her education at the institute, these young women, like Manpreet, emerge as competent educators, ready to make a difference in reputed schools.

To date, 822 girls have received the gift of free education through this transformative program.

Manpreet’s academic journey began at Akal Academy, Baru Sahib, where she completed her Xth and XIIth grades. Here, she was granted the invaluable opportunity to pursue her education free of cost, courtesy of Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, a staunch advocate for the transformative power of education in uplifting rural women.

Today, Manpreet Kaur stands as a beacon of inspiration, teaching at Akal College of Divine Music and Spiritualism, where she continues to impart knowledge and uplift the spirits of her students.
