Shaping Dreams in Clay – Akal Academy Bilga’s Sculpting Stars Shine Bright

Art Meets History – A Creative Explosion of Heritage

Held under the guidance of the Art & Craft Department, the competition gave students from Nursery to Class VI a unique opportunity to dive into the world of sculpture. With themes inspired by Indian heritage and architectural marvels, students crafted models like the towering Qutab Minar, the intricate Sanchi Stupa, and the timeless Taj Mahal all from simple, earthy clay and old newspapers.
The competition was conducted house-wise, adding a fun and friendly dose of teamwork and spirit to the creative process.

Discovering Talents, Shaping Minds

The event was brilliantly organized by Art & Craft teacher S. Sukhdev Singh, along with Activity Incharge Ms. Inderjit Kaur, who ensured every child had the opportunity to explore their creative potential in a structured, yet imaginative environment.
More than just making clay figures, students discovered the joy of hands-on creation, the patience of sculpting detail, and the pride of presenting something they made with their own two hands.
From intricate domes to fine pillars, every sculpture echoed the children’s enthusiasm and the teachers’ careful mentoring.
