The Awesome Secret to Raising Tomorrow’s Leaders

For this, it is very important to provide them with spiritual education along with modern scientific education.
Providing them with spiritual (Gurmat) knowledge will inculcate qualities of kindness, compassion, humility, etc.

A Gurmat Camp with a difference

Keeping this in mind, Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Dwarka Sec. 11, recently organized a 5-day Gurmat Camp wherein young kids were made aware of the Sikh practical way of life.

In this camp, the volunteers from the Akal Academy, the Residential School Mother Branch, Baru Sahib, running under the auspices of the Kalgidhar Trust, taught the kids about Sikh history, Sikh philosophy, and Sikh principles. The students also learned Gurmukhi and Gurbani Vichaar in the camp.

This camp was organized from June 24 to June 29. On the last day of the camp, the kids were also presented with gifts from the Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib.

This is not the first time that the Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, has been part of or organized such a program.

Spiritual education is an integral part of the curriculum at all 129 Akal Academies running under the auspices of the Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib.

About the Akal Punjabi Sikhya Program

Our Akal Punjabi Sikhya Program is a unique online Punjabi learning program where students connect with the roots of Gurmukhi spirituality. Under the guidance of Shiromani Panth Ratan Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, the initiative “Akal Punjabi Sikhya Program” was started to inspire the young generation to learn our Maa Boli Punjabi and Sikh history.

The Akal Gurmat International Camp

The Trust also organizes “Akal Gurmat International Camp” every year.
In this Camp, participants from across the globe—the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, etc. The participants learn about Sikh history, Sikh philosophy, the practical way of Sikh living, and much more.

This camp is organized at Akal Academy, Baru Sahib (established in 1986), a boarding school affiliated with IB Cambridge CBSE. Sahib.
