Deepinder Singh, currently serving as a Probationary Officer at Punjab & Sind Bank in Chandigarh, has a journey that reflects hard work, resilience, and divine blessings. Hailing from a humble agrarian family in Muktsar, Deepinder’s father balanced farming and a government job to support the family, while his upbringing was enriched by the values and education of Akal Academy.
Education and Early Career
Deepinder completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communications from Banda Singh Bahadur College, Fatehgarh Sahib. His academic foundation, combined with the life skills instilled at Akal Academy, landed him a job at Ericsson, Gurgaon, where he worked for 1.5 years. This exposure to the corporate world provided him with invaluable experience and insights.
Shifting to Banking
Despite his success in the corporate sector, Deepinder sought opportunities closer to home. His aspiration to work in Chandigarh, a city he admired for its culture and development, led him to transition into banking. Starting with IDBI and OBC Bank in Jalandhar, he eventually secured a position at Punjab & Sind Bank in Chandigarh, fulfilling a long-cherished dream.
Future Aspirations
Deepinder’s journey doesn’t stop here. While he is content with his current role, he has set his sights on preparing for the Civil Services Examination (UPSC), aiming to contribute further to society.

Deepinder credits Akal Academy for shaping his personality, values, and career. The school’s emphasis on spiritual grooming through daily ‘Paath’ has helped him maintain balance and stay grounded.
