This year’s theme spotlighted the midwife’s role in safeguarding maternal and newborn health especially during crises like pandemics, natural disasters, or conflict zones. The event comprised of a plethora of activities
Skits & Role Plays – Students dramatized the life-saving roles midwives play in emergencies—bringing scenes from disaster-hit areas to life with gripping realism and emotional depth.
Expert Talks – Healthcare leaders delivered powerful insights on strengthening midwifery in India. Their message was clear: midwives deserve greater recognition, resources, and respect.
Interactive Quiz – Participants tested their knowledge in a lively quiz on maternal health, learning new facts and busting old myths.
Pledge Ceremony – Students raised their voices in unison, pledging to advocate for midwives and uphold the values of safe motherhood and newborn care.
Health Education Session – Future nurses conducted an informative session promoting safe childbirth practices, bridging theory with community awareness.
Poetry Recitations – Emotions flowed as students paid lyrical tribute to midwives—poems that echoed the silent strength of those who hold hands through the pain and bring life into the world.
