Facing Financial Challenges with Determination in early life
Born into a humble family, Amanpreet’s father, Rampal Singh, a farmer, and her mother, a homemaker, supported her dreams despite financial struggles. Her father’s sacrifice of selling his land and her elder brother’s motivation from Australia enabled her to pursue education against all odds.
The Role of Akal Academy in Shaping a Bright Future
Amanpreet’s journey began at Akal Academy Muktsar, where she completed her nursery and first grade. Later, family circumstances led her to Akal Academy Cheema Sahib. The strong foundation of values and academics provided by Akal Academy allowed her to skip grades and excel at Guru Teg Bahadur School in Patran City.
Her Life at baru sahib Academic and Spiritual Growth
Amanpreet found her calling during her time at Baru Sahib. After completing her +2 in medical sciences at Akal Academy, she pursued a B.Sc. in Nursing at Akal College of Nursing, where she graduated as a gold medalist. Her journey of growth didn’t end there; she continued to serve as a teacher, embodying the values instilled in her by Baru Sahib.
A Mission to Uplift Her Village
Visiting her village now, Amanpreet sees a stark contrast between the well-rounded students of Akal Academy and the uninformed, aimless children in her native place. Determined to bridge this gap, she is working alongside her father to establish an Akal Academy in Shadihari Village, ensuring that future generations get the opportunity to excel.
Carrying the Torch of Inspiration
Amanpreet actively inspires others in her village. She has participated in initiatives like stage performances and videos such as “Vidya Vichari” with Indian Idol fame Davinder Pal Singh to promote education. Her efforts have begun to yield results, with more families enrolling their children in Akal Academies.
