At the tender age of 6, Baba Iqbal Singh Ji resolved to devote his life to the service of humanity. Through his charitable institution, The Kalgidhar Trust at Baru Sahib, Sirmaur, he educated lakhs of underprivileged children and provided medical treatment to thousands of patients.

As the driving force behind The Kalgidhar Trust since 1965, Baba Ji focused on imparting values-based education in rural India. Under his leadership, the Trust established 129 CBSE-affiliated English medium schools, providing quality education to over 70,000 children from marginalized communities.
