World’s Tallest Nishan Sahib Installed at Bulandpuri Sahib

A Historic Milestone for the Sikh Community

On February 24, the world’s tallest Nishan Sahib was installed at Darbar Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Bulandpuri Sahib, formerly known as Nawan Nanaksar Thath. This monumental structure stands as a symbol of Sikh unity, faith, and Guru Granth Sahib’s blessings.

Impressive Dimensions and Engineering Excellence

The Nishan Sahib stands at an astounding 255 feet, weighing approximately 21,000 kgs. The Khanda Sahib, measuring 113 inches in height and weighing 60 kgs, adds to its grandeur. Unlike traditional Nishan Sahibs, this one was engineered and planned in Canada and later manufactured in China before being transported and assembled in Punjab.

A Symbol of Faith and Devotion

The Nishan Sahib serves as a beacon of spirituality, guiding devotees to Darbar Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. It represents the unity of Guru’s followers and the everlasting presence of Sikh teachings worldwide.

This historic achievement is a moment of pride and blessing for Sikhs across the globe, reinforcing their deep connection to faith, heritage, and community.
